Roe Together 2.0: Taking Your Pro-Choice Advocacy to the Next Level

Freedom of Choice Cleveland Coalition (FOCC), comprised of several local and statewide organizations dedicated to reproductive rights, health and justice, is hosting Roe Together 2.0: Taking Your Advocacy to the Next Level. It's an evening of education and activism on reproductive choice.

Featuring: Kellie Copeland, NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio Foundation executive director; Prof. Jessie Hill, constitutional law scholar and Assoc. Dean for Academic Affairs, CWRU School of Law; Rep. Janine Boyd, Ohio House District 9; and members of the Patients to Advocates Fellowship.

In honor of the 45th anniversary of the Supreme Court's landmark Roe v. Wade decision recognizing the right to safe and legal abortion, the speakers will discuss the legislative and legal history around abortion rights, current threats to reproductive freedom, and what it's like to access abortion in today's climate. Attendees will also engage in direct action on these issues.

Tickets are free, but contributions to help offset expenses are appreciated.

There is limited parking available at Trinity Commons (enter from Prospect Avenue), and reduced-rate parking with validated ticket at the nearby CSU garage (obtain a voucher from the Trinity reception desk).

Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple has graciously arranged for bus transportation to and from the synagogue leaving at 5:30, located at 23737 Fairmount Blvd in Beachwood (please indicate your interest in a seat on the bus when you register). Trinity Cathedral is easily accessible by public transportation as well, with a Healthline stop located nearby on Euclid Avenue.
