Nickie is currently the State Representative for District 13 and the Minority Whip of the Ohio General Assembly. She has been a strong progressive leader who, as a state representative, has been known as a champion and leader in women’s reproductive rights, workers’ rights, health and environmental policy, and a staunch advocate for equity & fairness. Nickie made history in 2010 by becoming the first openly serving lesbian or gay member of the Ohio General Assembly. Interested in learning more?
