Dual Perspectives: How the Law Impacts Abortion Patient Care

Dual Perspectives: How the Law Impacts Abortion Patient Care

Monday, November 13, 6pm - 8pm @ Preterm, 12000 Shaker Blvd, 44120

Join us for a fascinating conversation with one of the legal experts litigating Preterm’s challenges to abortion restrictions in Ohio and an OB/GYN who is an advocate for reproductive choice and abortion provision. Jessie Hill, Professor of Law at Case Western Reserve University, and Dr. Justin Lappen, OB/GYN-Maternal and Fetal Medicine at University Hospitals, will provide an in-depth look at anti-abortion laws and how they impact the type of individualized patient care that doctors provide.

Politicians have made Ohio increasingly dangerous for pregnant people by passing laws that restrict safe abortion access, force clinics to close their doors, and come between patients and their doctors. Politics must not get in the way of our doctors providing care.

This is part of Preterm’s Monthly Community Event Series, so it’s free and open to the public! No RSVP necessary. Parking is available in the Preterm parking lot. For more information, email info@preterm.org.

This program has been approved for 2 CLEs with the Supreme Court of Ohio. CLE Approval #370345. Social workers can earn 2 free CEU credits for this event.
